She received her medical degree from Howard University College of Medicine and performed her internship in internal medicine at Washington Hospital Center. Beckett received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Cornell University and a Master’s degree in Public Health from George Washington University. She joined Sona Dermatology after 7 years in private practice in the Washington D.C. Doubleday’s medical expertise will help to further Sona Dermatology’s long-standing reputation in Houston and Dallas. He followed this by earning his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical School in Houston. His educational background began with a bachelor’s degree in the Plan II Honors Program at the University of Texas, Austin. His professional expertise includes the diagnosis and treatment of skin diseases Botox and other dermal filler procedures and sclerotherapy of leg veins. Doubleday is a board-certified dermatologist who ran a private practice in the Galleria Area of Houston for 26 years. ![]() Doubleday is a well-respected Houston Dermatologist who has joined the Sona Dermatology team as Cosmetic Medical Director in Houston and Dallas. Akingboye sees patients in our Bethesda office and offers early morning patient hours starting at 7 a.m.ĭr. "I take care to provide the best care for my patients so that they leave my office feeling better about their skin than when they first walked in to see me." Dr. Akingboye also performs various medical and cosmetic procedures, including cortisone shots, excisions of skin cancers, and injection of various fillers and Botox for the treatment of wrinkles. She has interest in skin of color, various types of alopecia (including central centrifugal cicatricial alopecia), acne, and psoriasis, and sees both adults and children. Akingboye is a member of the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, is a fellow for the American Academy of Dermatology, and a member of the Skin of Color Society. She has contributed to peer reviewed publications and has been honored by numerous professional organizations including the American Academy of Dermatology.ĭr.
